What are the most reliable pair of headphones you could buy?
I just need them to listen to my iPod but the headphones I buy keep braking. I need them to be small so I can carry them round everywhere I go but they cant be too expensive I’m willing to pay up to £40
Sennheiser CX 400 for in-ear phones and they do loads more styles and the world’s best headphones at only £14 000 if you can find some.
For some reason they didn’t sell too well so they’re discontinued now. Wonder why?

Sennheiser only make good stuff. They have a reputation to keep.
I have some over forty years old and they work as good as new, though the sound quality then was not as good as now. They are totally undamaged. You can bend the headband double and they just go back the way they were.
Sennheiser headphones, microphones, and whole studio consoles custom built by Sennheiser are used by the BBC and by thousands of recording studios around the world.
Many airlines also have Sennheiser phones for the pilot and crew, and for passenger entertainment.
Concord, both BA and Air France, used Sennheisser HD25 headphones for their passengers exclusively.
You can sometimes find some on eBay for around £50 second hand….they keep their price second hand very well.
